The Weather Channel app predicted rain. It had been sprinkling throughout the weekend, but like so many things about Jake and Allie's wedding the weather turned out to be JUST RIGHT. The clouds opened right in time for their gorgeous outdoor ceremony and the thunderstorm that serenaded the indoor reception made for a perfectly exciting party.

I've known Jake and Allie for a little while now, so I was so thankful to be a part of their incredible wedding day. These two exude confidence and fun. It makes sense that, like their personalities, their wedding was both absolutely radiant and perfectly rustic.

Those adjectives may seem oxymoronic, but these two made it work so beautifully. From her shimmering BHLDN wedding gown to just the right amount of sparkle on each reception table, Texas Old Town was an amazing backdrop for this beautiful couple's marriage to begin.

I'm so thankful for clients that are friends. I think you'll agree from these photos that the way these two love each other is something I'll be thankful to watch for years and years to come.
