I understand that to many people the purpose of a bridal session is to capture a formal portrait of the bride-to-be decked out and prepared for her big day. To me the best shots from the session are always filled with laughter - far less formal. I love when you can hear someone laughing when you see an image. It's my favorite!

This weekend my incredible roommate of two years married the man of her dreams - her very best friend.

Their story is out of a movie. After 7 years of friendship, living in a country on the other side of the world ministering to kids, they fell in love. It really is an epic love story.

Though the details of the wedding were beautiful. The way this incredibly gorgeous bride loves her bridegroom stole the show.

A few weeks ago we got to capture Daley preparing for her wedding. At an incredible San Antonio Mission we documented this bride to be. It was a blast to see my friend glowing before her big day.

Daley, I'm just so grateful for you, your friendship and your marriage, sweet friend!

I've been anxiously waiting sharing this gorgeous bride with you!

At her wedding last night, Michelle's coordinator told me, "Michelle is the very best kind of bride! Everyone in this wedding has been just so nice and easy to work with!"

I couldn't agree more. Before we met in person, I knew Michelle was beautiful. She has a kind peacefulness about her that reveals an extremely content heart. Michelle's the kind of person that everyone calls their best friend.

You'd never know from these photos, but this day, Michelle changed into her bridal gown in the back of an SUV at Mayfield Park and laughed literally the whole time! I have so enjoyed working with this incredible bride, and I can't wait to show you photos from their wedding!

Every bride glows when she puts on the dress she's spent her life dreaming about. Francie's glow, however shined with the gentle confidence she's known for.

I've known Francie for several years. The opportunity to see the woman she's become since college throughout this wedding season has been one of the greatest blessings of 2016 so far.

This day…the one when she donned her wedding dress and practiced that perfect veil placement was just right. Even the rain which caused us to jump ship on original plans couldn't get her down. You've never seen a bride with more class.

Oh, Sarah Grace is not only stunning, but she has the most radiant and beautiful spirit! I have been waiting to post this glowing bride and I am so thankful for them to be hitting the blog - I loved this session!

Sarah Grace was up for anything and even asked me if she could climb a tree for a picture! She is so adventurous and loves to live life out of the box. Her and her husband Matt now are living in Denver and they are going to be such an asset to a community of people.

I love this sweet bride so much!

Ashley has such a gentle and welcoming personality. She was up for anything and is extremely photogenic as we wandered around Bull Creek Park. Days after this, she moved to San Antonio to be with her soon-to-be husband.

You can tell Ashley is the kind of girl you want in your community. She seems to bring loyalty and encouragement wherever she goes.
